Happy New Year!
I am starting my year off with some goal planning! I sat down last week and made a list of all my goals for the year. Starting the year with specific resolutions can be hard. Tiring to do something every single day sets you up for failure because all it takes is one missed day to through off your goals. I approach the new year differently. This year I am trying something new and wanted to share it with you. I did all my planing in my notebook for my year goal and will break them down into my monthly goals sheets in my planner (to check out my planner you can see my post about it here).
I made a pretty printable you can download to make your own new years goals sheet.
I start with a theme for the year. My theme for the year is: Set yourself up for success. Going into a my last year of school this year I really need to set myself up of success after graduation.
I included a quote to match my theme to put me in the right mindset for the year. My quote is:
“Disciplining yourself to do what you know is right and important, although difficult, is the highroad to pride, self-esteem , and personal satisfaction.”
I then set my big goals for the year in different areas of my life. I set one for life, school, work, and my blog. I also have financial goals which I did separately. The big goals are general and broad. They are bigger goals that cannot be completed in a day or week.
I move on to the little goals, these are things that can be accomplished in a day or week. Things that together build on each other to accomplish the bigger goals.
So here is the printable you can download it here. Goal
Happy Goal Setting,
