Yall, I am so excited that Girl Stop Apologizing releases TODAY! If you have been following me for any length of time over the last year you know Girl, Wash Your Face was my book of 2018. Since its release last February, author, Rachel Hollis has gathered a huge following and I am proud to say I am a member of that tribe. Girl, Wash Your Face was the loving kick in the butt I needed to start my last year of law school and my love of Rachel Hollis and the work she is producing has not diminished one bit. Her Instagram content including her live morning show has provided me with so much inspiration and advice that has shifted my perspective. When I saw the opportunity to join the launch team for her new book, Girl, Stop Apologizing, I jumped at the chance.
Girl, Stop Apologizing: A Shame-free Plan for Embracing and Achieving Your Goals.
Girl, Wash Your Face was the motivational fire I needed to jump start the tradition into my last year of school but it left me thinking “now what?” Well, I must say, Rachel brings as much energy to the new book and uses it to tell you how it is and how it could be, all while leading you through the steps she uses on a normal basis to chase down her own dreams.
The book is broken into three parts: excuses to let go of, behaviors to adopt, and skills to acquire. Each part is full of wisdom and advice on how to go after the life you dream of while remaining sane and happy.
I want to include a disclaimer, as with all personal development books there were parts that generally did not apply to me, at least yet. For example, I am not a mom and some of her references pertain to motherhood. I found great wisdom in these chapters, even when the subject matter was not something that pertained to me.
I loved how she walks you through the whole process of chasing down a dream. If you are a dreamer, run, right not and go get this book, or order it for delivery, or skip all wait and listen to the audio book right now!
The book officially launched March 5, 2019 after a few stores went rouge and released it early the release date was moved up from the original date of March 12th! You can find the book anywhere books are sold or find a copy at your local library. If you have already grabbed your copy I would love to know what you thought of the book, you can leave me a comment here or on Instagram @lifeinlawandcoffeeblog
